Operation officer - Jobs
A Logistics Operator is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement, Import & Export of goods. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with company policies and trade regulations. The Logistics Operator acts as the link between suppliers and customers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Key responsibilities:
- • Coordinate and monitor daily Import & Export and transportation activities.
- • Ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments documentation.
- • Track and trace shipments, updating customers and management on delivery status.
- • Maintain communication with carriers, freight forwarders teams to resolve delays or issues.
- • Manage logistics documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and shipping manifests.
- • Optimize Import and Export processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- • Assist in problem-solving for damaged, lost, or delayed shipments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field (Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
- • Experience in logistics, transportation, or Import & Export operations.
- • Strong knowledge of shipping processes, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
- • Proficient in logistics system (Customs system, ACYCUDA, CVDS, and SAD, MS Word , Excell).
- • Management and organizational skills.
- • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- • Team player with attention to detail and accuracy.
